Computer is the electrnic machine that working very fast and accurate. It can perform complex tasks in a short time. Computer are designed for differnt purpose with differnt capabilities -and costs. We can classify computer as:  
ANALOG COMUTRE 
Analog computer are used to process analog date. These computer stoore data in a continuous from of physical quantities and perform calculations with he help of measure.These computer are good in the situations which require data to be measured directly without converting into numbers or code . They are frequently used to control process such as those foud in oil refinery where flow and temereature measurement are important. 
(FUN FACT:- analog computer do not required any storage capabillity because they measure and compare quantities in a single operation.
DIGITAL COMPUTER 
Computer that store data in terms of digital (number ) and process in discrete 
steps from one state to the next are called as digital computer . they can process numeric as well as non numeric data . they can perform arithmetical and logical operations .microcomputer,laptop,wrist,calculator are the example of digital computes   . 
HYBRID COMPUTERS
Hybried computer are the combination of digital and analog computer  they are the best feature of compuuter i.e. they have speed of analog computer memory 
 and accuracy of digital computer . They are used in mainly in specialised application where both kind of data need to be processed. For example at petrol pump a proccess is used which convert fuel flow measurement into quantity and 
price value and in hospital Intensive care  units (icu) an analogt device is used which and displayed in form of digitals .They are also used for uysed for scintific calculation in defence and radar system.
